As Platform Software Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling distributed AI software for Newton, Archetype’s advanced real-time AI platform.
This is a senior leadership role at a principal or staff level. Ideal candidates are strong technical leads, who can design, develop, and deliver robust solutions quickly, scaling to manage a team of engineers responsible for developing and improving our core AI platform.
Ideal candidates are focused on building and delivering robust solutions quickly, learning from real-world deployment, and iterating based on customer needs. You are comfortable designing end-to-end distributed solutions, can develop across the stack as needed in multiple languages, and have experience building distributed systems that can be deployed across multiple cloud environments. You are comfortable designing and developing core systems, can dig deep into complex systems to resolve challenging bugs, and scale yourself by growing and managing highly-effective engineering teams. You thrive in ambiguity and a fast changing environment, and are excited to work on large distributed systems, advanced AI algorithms, and not afraid to learn new tools or build new technology when needed.
